Catch up with life.....

It's been much too long since I have blogged. But I have an honest reason..... I don't have Internet so I have to go to my mom and dad's to get online. Well things have been very good for us. Joshua is working hard and I'm trying to!! Most all of you reading I'm sure know that we are going to have a baby in Jan. I'm 3 and half months pregnant and feeling much much better since morning sickness is over. We are very excited! Well even though it's been a long time I really don't have much to say. Hope life is good for all of you!!

The big move!!

Joshua and I have finally made it to Salem!! We got to my parents house on sat afternoon. We are hoping to move into our apartment on Wednesday. For the time being I'm taking a break from the packing and unpacking and spending sometime with my family. I have to admit I really don't care much for living out of boxes!! Well I'll keep you all posted about life!!

Time for change.....

We have all had those times in life when we know that it is time for something to change. We realize that the way things are now is not longer working. Well that is how it has been for Joshua and I. So after much thought and pray, as well as hours apartment and job searching, we have decided it time for us to move. In April we are going to move back to Salem IL. My nursing class will be transferred to Kaskaskia College and I will be finishing my RN there. Joshua has several jobs he is looking into but nothing is nailed down quit yet. So for the Salem people here we come and the Cincinnati folks, it's been fun!! If anyone get the urge to pack........ :-)

Wonderful days!!

I realize it's been such a long time since I blogged but I guess life needs to slow down if I'm to get any blogging done!! This actually is my day to sleep in but I woke up and so I'm laying here looking out the window, listening to the rain fall, and wasting time on here. School has been so very busy but I only have 4 weeks left till summer break and I honestly can't wait! It seems that ever waking moment I have school on mind, a test that needs studying for, a quiz that need finished, a paper that needs written... how wonderful a break sounds!! Well pharmacology is calling..... Have a great day!!

Frustrating thought

I know I'm probably going to step on a few toes but there has been something really bothering me. It seems that over the last week, since we have gotten a new president, I hear "Christians", people that aim to be like Christ, talking very badly about our Nations leader. The man that deserves our respect, even if we don't agree with everything he does, is only getting support from the selfish, self centered, un-Christlike people of this world. And us Christians standing on our stubborn believe that he is going to be bad for our believes are doing nothing. We took it upon our self to pray and support President Bush but we seem to forget and belittle the president we have now. What happened to respecting those in authority over us! Obama is the man God put over us so I think we need to start supporting and praying for him!!

quick catch up!!

It seems I have once again fallen behind. But I have an honest reason.... I've been busy:-) Lots has happened but I will make it short and sweet! I'm sure most all of you know about Josh's scare. On Jan 6 I was as school when my teacher called me aside and told me my husband was in the ER. That was a heart sinking feeling!! But when I got to the ER and saw that he was in one piece, no blood, or broken bones I felt some what better. Until the doctor told us they were going to ship him to Dayton to put him in a hyperbaric champer. While he was a work power washing he got Carbon monoxide poisoning. They told me the ok CO level in the body of a very heavy smoker would be 10 and for someone like Josh who doesn't smoke it should be around 2 or 3. Well his levels were 26. But by the time we made it by ambulance to Dayton the face mask O2 had lowered it enough that they decided not to put him in the chamber. So we are thankful everything turned out ok with that dilemma!
I started back to Nursing at Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences. It's going good but I'm not yet into the swing of the homework thing. But it will come and before you know it I may be taking care of one of you... don't be too scared:-)
Yesterday was my brother-in-laws wedding. Brady White and Michelle Wilhelm got married in Frankfort IN. It was so very very cold but perfect. I'm so very happy for them!! (sorry it's so dark)

Until time........
