The Honeymoon

We left the wedding around 8pm to run around town for our friends and family to honk and scream and make fools of us (which of course was tons of fun for us!! seriously!) The biggest problem with the car was that I didn't want to wash it . I told Josh this was a once in a lifetime so we should leave it. We did for 9 days and after that amount of time it is seriously is hard to wash off! Josh spent much more time than you would think to get it to look as good as it does. Sorry dad about the red headlights on your car!!

But right before we left we realized that we had forgotten to sign the marriage license. We signed the keepsake one during the ceremony but the official one had been forgotten. So we jumped out of the car but the pastors had long gone home. So to make a long story short after driving around for a bit, picking up some things from mom and dad's, we went to our pastors house for them to sign it so we could legally go on our honeymoon.

After we got everything in order we drove the hour and half to a little cabin in Carbondale IL. It was the perfect place to relax and began a life together. ( http://www.woodlandcabins.net/ )

We stayed there for 5 days and it was great. Than we went to Rend Lake and camped for a few night. We both love to camp so it was nice to find something cheap we both liked!!

It was so wonderful! Even when the raccoons stole our food!! The last evening of our honeymoon we went to Lamburts for supper! Drove about 2 hours than stood in line for 30 min after we got there but it was fun and we both left with full stomachs!!

The entire time was tons of fun and I loved getting to spent the week with my husband!!
